These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Volv mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Volv, a company registered in Sweden ("we", "us", "our").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

The Service is strictly limited to individuals who are 18 years of age or older.

By using the Service, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• All information you provide is accurate and complete
• You have legal capacity to enter into these Terms

2. Account Registration

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining confidentiality of your account
• All activity under your account
• Notifying us immediately of unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts suspected of misuse or fraud.

3. Description of the Service

Volv provides AI-powered fitness and nutrition tools, including:

• Personalized fitness plans
• Nutrition recommendations
• Body analysis based on user-provided data

The Service is informational and educational only.

4. AI-Generated Content & Health Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence systems to generate outputs based on user inputs, including body data and images.

You acknowledge that:

• Outputs are generated automatically by AI
• Results are for informational purposes only
• The Service does NOT provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
• Volv is not a healthcare provider or medical device

You are solely responsible for how you use any recommendations.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health-related decisions.

5. Health & Sensitive Data Processing

The Service processes sensitive personal data, including health data and body images, only with your explicit consent.

You agree that:

• Your data may be processed using third-party AI providers (including OpenAI)
• Images may be transmitted in full resolution for analysis
• Processing is necessary to provide the Service

6. Subscriptions, Free Trial & Billing

6.1 Free Trial

We may offer a 1-day free trial.

By starting the trial, you explicitly agree that:

• The subscription will automatically begin after 1 day
• You will be charged unless you cancel before the trial ends
• No additional reminder is guaranteed before billing

6.2 Subscription Plans

We offer:

• Monthly subscription
• Quarterly subscription

All payments are processed securely by Stripe.

6.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.

You may cancel anytime through your account settings.

6.4 No Refund Policy

All payments are final and non-refundable.

This includes:

• Partial subscription periods
• Unused services
• Failure to cancel on time

Nothing in this section affects any mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection laws (including EU/EEA and Swedish law where applicable).

6.5 Price Changes

We may modify pricing. We will provide reasonable notice before changes take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of new pricing.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful purposes
• Upload illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the Service
• Interfere with system security or operations
• Create multiple accounts to bypass restrictions
• Share your account credentials

8. User Content

You retain ownership of all data you upload.

By using the Service, you grant Volv a worldwide, non-exclusive license to:

• Store
• Process
• Analyze
• Use your content

solely for:

• Providing the Service
• Improving functionality
• AI processing and personalization

You acknowledge that third-party AI providers may process your data as part of service delivery.

9. Intellectual Property

All rights in the Service, including software, design, branding, and AI systems, are owned by Volv and protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Volv shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data or profits
• Decisions made based on AI-generated outputs
• Health outcomes resulting from use of the Service

In any event, Volv's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee:

• Accuracy of AI outputs
• Fitness for a specific purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Specific health or fitness results

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:

• You violate these Terms
• Fraud or abuse is detected
• Required by law

Upon termination:

• Access to the Service will cease immediately
• Your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy
• No refunds will be issued for any remaining subscription period

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Sweden, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

We will notify users of material changes via:

• Email
• In-app notification

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
